Join Kazkar.com (AI Stories for Kids)
Remote · Equity-only, co-founder track · Early-stage, self-funded, live product with real users
The one-liner
Kazkar is an AI-powered platform that creates personalized stories, songs, and interactive content for kids aged 3–12 — bedtime tales, adventures, educational content, and more, built around custom “hero” characters kids can grow attached to. We’re looking for a third co-founder to own growth, marketing, and user acquisition.
Where we are
Product is live and working — not a prototype or concept
Two technical co-founders already building full-time (frontend + full-stack)
Early users actively creating and sharing stories on the platform
Bootstrapped, no outside investment — every dollar of growth so far has come from product quality and word of mouth, not paid spend
We’re deliberately not raising yet — we want to hit stronger traction numbers first, which is exactly where the right growth person can make an outsized difference
Why now is a good time to join
Right now, growth is the biggest unlock for this business. The product works, parents like it, kids love creating with it — but we’re programmers, not marketers, and we know it. Whoever joins next will own that entire side of the company from day one, not slot into an existing playbook. Decisions about brand voice, channels, community, and go-to-market are wide open.
What we’re looking for
A hands-on growth marketer who wants ownership, not a paycheck for hours logged. Ideally someone with:
Experience growing a B2C consumer app or platform — parenting, kids, edtech, or family-space experience is a big plus, but not a hard requirement
Comfort being scrappy: content, SEO, organic social (TikTok/Instagram/Pinterest are huge in the parenting space), community-building, referral loops — not just running paid campaigns
Some familiarity with analytics/tracking so we can measure what’s working from day one
Genuine excitement about the product and the audience — this isn’t a “growth-hack anything” role, it’s building a brand parents trust with their kids’ imaginations
You don’t need to have “done a startup before.” You need to have grown something from a small, real user base — a following, a product, a community — and want to do it again with real equity on the table.
What we’re offering
Meaningful equity as a co-founder, not a token grant — exact percentage is open for discussion based on commitment level and what you bring, with standard vesting (e.g., 4-year vest, 1-year cliff) so it’s fair to everyone
Full ownership of the marketing/growth function — title, decision-making, and creative control, not “marketing support” for someone else’s plan
Remote, flexible — we’re not precious about hours or location, we care about outcomes
Real product to work with — you’re not marketing vaporware; you’ll have actual users, actual retention data, and actual product feedback loops to build on
A written founder agreement before you commit anything meaningful — we take this as seriously as you should
What this isn’t
Not a salaried position — we’re self-funded and can’t offer cash compensation right now
Not a full-time requirement from day one if that doesn’t work for you — we’re open to starting part-time to test fit before going all-in together
Not a “figurehead” advisor role — we’re looking for someone who wants to build, test, and iterate hands-on
How to reach us
If this sounds like you, get in touch and tell us:
What you’ve grown before (numbers, channels, what worked)
Why kids’/family products interest you
What working relationship you’re looking for (full-time from day one vs. part-time trial first)
We’ll set up a call, walk you through the product and current metrics, and go from there.
