Headway Inc is a global tech company, revolutionizing lifelong learning by creating digital products for over 170 million users worldwide. Our mission is to help people grow. We’re proud to be ranked 4th among the World’s Top EdTech Сompanies by TIME magazine. We believe lifelong learning should be accessible, personalized, and impactful to each individual. That’s how we change the world and why we bring together exceptional minds.
The core of our achievements is our team. We believe in people and shared values SELECT. That’s why, together with Oleksandra Khilienko, Head of Globalization at Headway Inc, we’re looking for a Globalization Product Manager to make sure every product we ship feels like it was built for the market it lands in.
The team you will be working with
This is a role that touches almost everything we ship globally. You’ll sit at the intersection of product management, user research, and linguistic strategy — and work across product, engineering, design, and marketing, alongside the native-language reviewers who keep our products feeling local. Globalization at Headway isn’t a step bolted on at the end of the pipeline; it’s built into how products are made from the ground up, and you’ll own that end to end. Your decisions will directly shape the experience of millions of users across very different languages, cultures, and markets.
This role is your calling if you
Think in systems but act with precision — you can hold a messy, multi-team, multi-market picture in your head and still stay focused on what actually ships.
Are genuinely curious about how people in different cultures think, click, and decide — and you read market and stakeholder nuance without falling back on assumptions.
Are as comfortable in a data dashboard as you are in a conversation with a native-language reviewer about translation tone.
Make sound calls with incomplete information, then iterate fast once you see results — ambiguity energizes you instead of stalling you.
Balance linguistic quality with business reality — you know when to trade polish for speed, and why.
Get global requirements prioritized by teams you don’t manage, through credibility and clarity rather than a title.
Can rebuild a process that breaks, absorb feedback, and keep moving.
Believe great globalization is invisible — users in every market should feel the product was made for them.
What you’ll do
Own the globalization roadmap end to end — and push globalization upstream, so it’s built into how products are made, not bolted on at the end.
Shape and grow original, locally-authored content — decide what to commission and release based on market and trend research.
Make our products feel native in every market we serve, including the genuinely complex ones.
Turn global behavioral data and user research into real product and localization decisions — and own the analytics that show they landed.
Set the bar for UX localization and linguistic quality across teams you don’t manage — the standards, glossaries, and rubrics that hold up at scale.
Build the systems behind it: AI-assisted translation pipelines, vendor and reviewer programs, and the tooling that keeps globalization fast and reliable.
