We're a white-label ad agency looking for a freelance email marketer to step in on an active client project on a per-project basis. You'll own email and SMS end-to-end — strategy, design, build, and reporting — delivered under the AdTribe brand. Most of our projects run on Klaviyo, so that's where you'll work most of the time, but the platform varies by client, so you should be comfortable working in whatever tool a project uses.
Core responsibilities
Set up and run the client's email platform — most often Klaviyo, sometimes others (Omnisend, Mailchimp, etc.) — building out the foundational structure (configuration, integrations, segments) and core flows (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, winback)
Design and build emails yourself — from concept to responsive, on-brand, mobile-first layout
Plan and send campaign emails (promos, newsletters, product launches)
Set up and run SMS alongside email
Manage list segmentation and hygiene
Run A/B tests on subject lines, creative, and send times
Monitor deliverability (sender reputation, spam placement, list health)
Report on results in a client-ready format
Basic requirements
2+ years hands-on email marketing experience (agency or e-commerce in-house)
Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo — flows, segments, campaigns, and analytics (the platform most of our projects run on)
Comfortable working across email platforms — able to pick up Omnisend, Mailchimp, or whatever a client runs on
Able to design and build emails independently (Figma/Canva + the platform's editor; HTML/CSS a strong plus)
SMS marketing experience (Klaviyo SMS, Postscript, or Attentive)
Solid email copy ability
Comfortable using AI in your day-to-day
