EKTOS is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Developer to join our engineering team. The successful candidates will play a key role in the design, development, and integration of real-time embedded firmware for industrial, automotive, and IoT-grade electronic products. This position requires strong technical competence, leadership in embedded software design, and familiarity with industry best practices and standards.
Experience • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development for microcontroller-based systems. • Proven track record of full product lifecycle participation—from requirements definition to production release. • Expertise in C and C++ (C++11 or newer) for embedded development. • Strong understanding of real-time constraints, interrupt handling, and task scheduling. • Proficiency with firmware architecture design, state machines, and event-driven applications. • Experience developing bootloaders, firmware update mechanisms (including OTA), and diagnostic modules. • Familiarity with static analysis, code coverage, and traceability tools.
