We’re looking for an experienced Database Administrator / Developer to join the team of a European product company in the mobile payments space. You’ll work with a large-scale MS SQL environment and play an important role in keeping the product’s data infrastructure reliable and efficient.
What you’ll do
Design and maintain scalable database architecture, schemas, tables, and relational data models.
Configure, secure, and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments.
Optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, execution plans, and indexing strategies.
Monitor database performance and implement improvements.
Manage backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
Develop and maintain business reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI.
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders on data-driven solutions.
What we’re looking for
3+ years of experience as an MS SQL Server DBA and/or Database Developer.
Strong expertise in relational database design and data architecture.
Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Experience with indexing, execution plans, and database maintenance.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI.
English level sufficient for communication in an international environment.
Nice to have
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with JasperReports / Jaspersoft Studio.
Experience supporting billing operations, including auditing financial data, investigating data discrepancies, and validating invoicing logic.
