Occam Industries is a British-Ukrainian MilTech company building a hardware-agnostic software for next-generation defence capabilities.
We work directly with leading Ukrainian OEMs to bring autonomy to the frontline at scale — turning existing unmanned platforms into autonomous systems. Our technology is already deployed by Ukrainian brigades in combat, helping operators hit targets.

Your Mission
Lead our engineering teams to build, integrate, and ship reliable autonomy software to the frontline at speed and scale.
What You’ll Own
System architecture across our modular autonomy stack.
Technical direction for the Pilot and Platform engineering teams.
Hands-on engineering to solve the hardest problems. Expect to spend half of your time in the codebase.
Working with Product, OEMs and brigades to turn frontline needs into things we can actually build and ship.
Technical trade-offs across performance, reliability, hardware constraints and speed of delivery.
Hiring the engineers we need to move faster.
What You Bring
Deep hands-on engineering — you will need to be credible working in the codebase, not only above it.
Experience owning system architecture across complex, hardware-adjacent software systems.
A track record of driving engineering teams to ship, without relying on formal management authority.
Comfort working closely with product and OEM stakeholders on real-world tradeoffs.
A build-first mentality. You want to solve hard engineering problems, not manage them from a distance.
Basic English required; fluent English is a plus.
Based in Kyiv or within daily commuting distance.

Interview Process
Typically four stages, completed within one to two weeks.
