Meet Your Future Team
We have an open management culture where leaders share a clear product vision rather than simply assigning tasks. We believe people do their best work when they understand where the team is going and why their contribution matters. Initiative is always welcome, and everyone is encouraged to share ideas, suggest improvements, and influence how things are built.
Ready for a career upgrade?
We are moving our whole engineering organisation — dozens of product teams — to an AI-native way of working. The AI Transformation team drives this shift, and you will be its first engineer, working side by side with the Head of AI Transformation.
The role is a mix of research and hands-on building. You try new models, tools and approaches, check what really works on our own tasks and code, and turn what works into tooling that teams use every day. No monotonous backlog: one week it’s an eval, the next a dashboard, then a pilot with a team.
What you’ll be doing
Research and pilot new models, AI tools and approaches: run experiments on real tasks, compare them, and write an honest conclusion — what we roll out and what we drop;
Design and build new AI workflows for teams: end-to-end flows where agents, skills and tools together cover real work processes — for example, epic → tasks → code → review;
Build AI tooling for engineering teams: Claude Code skills, agents and plugins, MCP integrations;
Design evals and quality checks for agents and their output: datasets from real tickets, graders, LLM-as-judge, checks in CI;
Collect AI usage telemetry (Claude Code, GitLab, Jira) and turn it into metrics and team dashboards that show the real picture;
Help teams adopt: run pilots with them, give demos, write short guides, and collect feedback on what breaks;
Keep our internal marketplace of skills and agents in good shape: reviews, versions, and a catalog of what exists and what is actually used.
You have these superpowers
5+ years of commercial software development, in any programming language;
You use Claude Code or a similar agentic tool every day and have something to show: your own skill, subagent, hook, plugin or MCP server;
You have built more than a chat on top of LLMs — agents, tool use, structured outputs — and real people used it (internal tools count);
You know how to check AI quality: you’ve built an eval set or a grader and measured before and after, not just “looked at it and it seemed fine”;
A research mindset: you set up an experiment, measure honestly and explain the conclusion in two paragraphs;
Integrations via APIs and webhooks (Jira, GitLab, Confluence or similar), plus CI/CD and tests;
You explain things clearly to engineers and are comfortable running a demo for a team.
Nice to have
Go, TypeScript or Python;
OpenTelemetry, Grafana or another way from raw data to a dashboard; Langfuse, LiteLLM or token cost tracking;
Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph, Pydantic AI or similar frameworks;
Platform / DevEx background: internal developer tools, DORA metrics, spec-driven development;
Public work: open-source plugins, articles, talks.
