Job Summary: As an AI Automation Engineer, you will architect and build automation solutions that combine RPA/workflow automation (UiPath, Power Automate) with AI/LLM capabilities (agentic workflows, document intelligence, RAG). You will own solutions end-to-end — from design through deployment and monitoring — and serve as Tier 3 escalation support for complex automation issues. This is an individual-contributor role focused on hands-on delivery; it does not carry mentoring or people-management responsibilities.
Essential Functions / Duties / Responsibilities:
— Architect and build automation solutions integrating RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate, or similar) with AI/LLM capabilities (agentic workflows, document intelligence, NLP, RAG)
— Participate in technical discovery with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
— Own the automation lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and optimization
— Serve as Tier 3/escalation support for complex automation incidents and production issues
— Evaluate, pilot, and integrate emerging AI tools (LLM APIs, orchestration frameworks, vector databases) into the automation stack
— Build and maintain APIs, connectors, and integrations between automation platforms, internal systems, and third-party services
— Follow and contribute to best practices for automation development, including code review, testing, and security/compliance requirements
— Monitor performance, reliability, and ROI of deployed automations; identify opportunities for optimization
— Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and process workflows
— Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, data, security, and business teams
Minimum Qualifications:
— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
— 3+ years of experience in automation engineering, software development, or related roles, including hands-on work with RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or similar)
-Demonstrated experience integrating AI/LLM technologies (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI, or similar) into production automation workflows
— Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages (Python, C#, or JavaScript)
— Experience with API integration, REST/SOAP web services, and system-to-system connectivity
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
— Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, including prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, and agentic workflow design
— Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their AI/automation service offerings
— Advanced proficiency in Excel and data manipulation; experience with SQL and structured/unstructured data
— Ability to architect scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions
— Strong stakeholder communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
— Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
— Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
— Effective written and verbal communicationCommitment to continuous learning in automation and AI technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
— Experience with vector databases, RAG architectures, or multi-agent systems
— Familiarity with process mining tools and automation governance frameworks
— Relevant certifications (UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, AI/ML certifications)
Shift: Monday—Friday, 11:00 AM—8:00 PM Kyiv Time, with a 1-hour break
