Spendbase is a fintech SaaS helping companies take control of their business spending — vendor negotiations, corporate payments, all in one place. We’re scaling globally and building a product that finance teams actually love.
We’re looking for a proactive Account Manager to build strong relationships with banking clients and drive account growth. This is not a support-focused role — we’re looking for someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, opening new conversations, and helping customers expand the value they get from Spendbase.
You’ll work closely with key stakeholders on the client side, uncover new business opportunities, lead commercial discussions, and ensure clients continue to see measurable results from our partnership.
What you’ll do:
Own and grow relationships with banking clients across your portfolio — mostly during calls and video meetings
Build a structure of follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction
Proactively identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-sell, and upsell
Build relationships with new stakeholders within client organizations
Lead regular business reviews and strategic discussions with customers
Drive renewals and commercial conversations to maximize account value
Act as the voice of the customer internally and collaborate with Product, Operations, and Sales teams
Monitor account performance, identify risks early, solve technical issues and develop action plans
Take ownership of customer success and business outcomes
What we’re looking for:
3+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or B2B Sales
Experience working with banking, fintech, financial institutions, or enterprise clients
Strong commercial mindset and proven ability to grow existing accounts
Proactive approach and ability to create opportunities rather than wait for them
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Fluent English
