Should I list ISTQB on my CV if I am not certified yet?

If you are studying, mention it as 'ISTQB Foundation, in progress' under Education. Do not list it as completed if it is not, recruiters check on the technical screen.

How do I show experience if I have only tested my own pet projects?

Treat each project as its own block: stack, what you tested, number of cases, bugs found. Link a repository with your test cases or bug reports. For a first QA role, this works as well as commercial experience.

Should I add automation skills if I only know the basics?

Yes, but be honest. Write 'basic Selenium and Python scripts' rather than calling yourself an Automation Engineer. It sets you apart from pure manual candidates without overpromising.

What level of English is enough?

B1 is fine for most Ukrainian product teams. For direct client work or EU/US projects, expect B2 or higher. List your real level, since interviews are often conducted in English.
