About the product
We’re building Rendi, a mobile app for language learning. The core idea is that the lessons are connected into a single story with recurring characters: the main character, a little star named Rendi, finds herself in a world of differently shaped figures, where she has to learn their language and understand how they live. The learning experience is structured like a text-based visual novel: every grammar or vocabulary topic emerges from Rendi’s interactions with the characters. The lessons combine explanations, exercises, and practice, including AI-powered activities.
The content we create
We’re launching the project’s social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts). The founder will be the face of the content. We’ll create videos about the product (story developments, interactions between characters, lesson snippets), behind-the-scenes startup life (how the story was developed, how characters and illustrations are created, why certain decisions are made, office life), as well as videos by UGC creators in different formats (direct product ads, everyday-life sketches, personal stories, etc.)
What you’ll do
Edit vertical videos (Reels / TikTok / Shorts) based on a ready-made brief or in a free-form style
Add English subtitles
Add graphics and animations where they enhance the delivery: titles, stickers, highlights
Work with audio: cleanup, music, and emphasis at key moments
Make changes based on feedback, usually one or two rounds
The initial target is 2-3 videos per week, with materials shared via Google Drive
We’ll work well together if you
Have a strong understanding of vertical video and know what kind of videos “take off”
Have a feel for the pace of short-form video and understand its structure (hook, retention, CTA)
Can both work from a brief and suggest your own approach when you see how to make something stronger
Understand spoken English well enough to edit English-language speech confidently
