About the role
We’re looking for a junior software engineer with 1+ year of commercial experience to join our product team. You’ll contribute across the backend and frontend, solve real customer problems, and grow your ownership with support from experienced teammates.
What you’ll do
Build and improve customer-facing features with Node.js and React.
Develop and integrate REST APIs.
Work with data and support reliable product workflows.
Debug issues, improve existing code, and help keep the product stable.
Collaborate with the product and engineering team, learn through feedback, and take on more responsibility as you grow.
Use Claude Code to build, debug, refactor, and test features while owning the quality of the result.

What we’re looking for
1+ year of commercial experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
Hands-on experience with React.
A solid understanding of REST APIs.
Confidence using Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and a thoughtful approach to learning.
Technical education or equivalent practical experience.
Practical experience with AI coding tools, effective prompting, and critically reviewing generated code.
Nice to have
Knowledge of or experience with functional programming.
Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, or CloudWatch.
Experience with React Native.
