PROJECT OVERVIEW
As a member of Architecture Group, you will join a highly skilled engineering organization building enterprise-grade solutions for audiology clinics and hearing care providers worldwide. This is a hands-on architecture role: you sit inside the Architecture Group, own system and integration design for your domains, and carry the same technical depth as everyone else in the group.
What makes it a solution role is the other half of the job. You will design the technical architecture — integrations, domain boundaries, system design — and you will shape the solution itself: working directly with Product, Sales, Delivery and customers to understand the clinical and commercial problem before deciding how to build for it. We are looking for someone equally comfortable in a customer workshop and in an architecture review; someone who treats “what should we build, and why” as part of their job, not someone else’s.
Tech Stack: .NET, React, Azure Cloud (AKS, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure SQL Database), Azure DevOps.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
Solution Shaping & Business Partnership
Act as the architectural counterpart to Product Management, translating business goals, market needs, and customer workflows into practical solution options with clear trade-offs around cost, time, risk, and long-term sustainability.
Own the end-to-end solution design for significant initiatives, ensuring that the architecture goes beyond individual components and delivers tangible value to customers and their day-to-day operations.
Challenge and refine requirements by understanding the underlying business problem before defining the technical solution.
Present solution options, recommendations, and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including commercial leadership, customer executives, and clinical teams.
Create clear and actionable solution artefacts, including solution overviews, capability maps, integration blueprints, and effort and impact assessments.
Partner closely with Delivery teams on sequencing and phasing to ensure that architectural decisions support a realistic and achievable product roadmap.
Develop a strong understanding of the audiology and hearing care domain, including clinical and operational workflows, to contribute as a credible solution partner beyond the technology itself.
Customer & Pre-Sales Engagement
Lead technical and solution workshops with customers and partners, covering discovery, requirements analysis, integration approaches, technical feasibility, and solution design.
Take an active role in pre-sales activities, including technical scoping, solution proposals, RFP and tender responses, early-stage solution shaping, and estimation.
Contribute to enterprise and public-sector procurement processes, including complex opportunities with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
Act as a trusted technical advisor to key customers, supporting them through complex technical discussions, escalations, distributed-system challenges, and integration issues.
Capture and communicate customer and market insights to help influence platform strategy and product roadmap decisions.
Domain & System Architecture
Act as the technical consultant for assigned domains, ensuring architectural integrity, clear ownership, and consistent domain boundaries across the platform.
Shape domain models and identify bounded contexts, aggregates, and integration points using Domain-Driven Design principles.
Define APIs, event contracts, and integration patterns across microservices and cross-domain workflows.
Assess epics and initiatives from an architectural perspective, evaluating technical feasibility, complexity, dependencies, and appropriate service ownership.
Support engineering teams with high-level system design, technology selection, architectural patterns, and technical decision-making.
Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance, and platform-wide architect
