Architecture Leadership: Define and maintain software architecture standards, patterns, and design principles; provide leadership across multiple teams; review and approve significant software designs; ensure architecture consistency; manage technical risks; and facilitate architecture reviews and governance.
Solution Design: Produce and review High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs); guide teams through complex design decisions; ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, maintainable, and supportable; and promote the reuse of common services, components, and patterns.
Engineering Partnership: Partner with Engineering leaders to improve quality and technical standards; support DevSecOps and modern software engineering practices; champion observability, automation, testing, and operational excellence; and reduce technical debt and complexity.
Modernisation & Technical Strategy: Support platform modernisation initiatives and technology evolution; contribute to roadmaps and architectural direction; evaluate emerging technologies; and balance short-term delivery with long-term technical sustainability.
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Enterprise Architects to align delivery with strategic direction; collaborate with Product, Security, Data, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams; communicate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; and build consensus across teams.
