About the Role
We’re looking for a Shopify Plus Developer to help shape and scale VIGO’s e-commerce experience. You’ll work on high-traffic Shopify Plus stores, build scalable solutions, optimize performance, and contribute directly to the growth of a leading consumer brand.

What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain custom Shopify Plus themes and storefronts.
Build custom Shopify applications (public and private).
Optimize store performance, page speed, and user experience.
Lead Shopify migrations from other e-commerce platforms.
Integrate Shopify with third-party services and business tools.
Develop custom API integrations using Shopify Admin API and Storefront API.
Transform Figma, PSD, Sketch, or Adobe XD designs into responsive Shopify themes.
Build and optimize landing pages focused on conversion.
Implement subscription models, product bundles, and advanced e-commerce features.
Configure and maintain Shopify apps and integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Troubleshoot technical issues and continuously improve store performance.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
Shopify Plus Certified Developer (or equivalent Shopify Plus expertise).
Strong experience building custom Shopify themes from scratch.
Experience developing custom Shopify apps.
Solid understanding of Shopify APIs (Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL).
Strong knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with headless commerce solutions is a strong advantage.
Hands-on experience with Shopify performance optimization.
Experience with Shopify migrations.
Familiarity with tools such as Klaviyo, Recharge, Yotpo, Trustpilot, SMSBump, Matrixify, Weglot, and similar platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
Experience working directly with consumer brands.
Portfolio of successful Shopify Plus stores.
Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
Familiarity with React, Next.js, or Hydrogen.
Experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives.
