We are looking for an SEO AI Specialist to make sure our brand and content are visible not just in classic Google search, but in the answers generated by AI systems — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and whatever comes next. Organic visibility is shifting from “ranking in a list of links” to “being the source an AI cites in its answer” — and you’ll be the person building that presence from the ground up.
What’s required
2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a track record of measurable results (organic traffic growth, keyword rankings, content performance).
Practical experience or demonstrable projects in GEO / AEO / AI SEO — optimizing content specifically for AI answer engines, not just traditional search.
Solid understanding of how LLMs source, rank, and cite content: structured data, schema markup, content clarity, E-E-A-T signals.
Hands-on experience with SEO tooling (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or similar) and comfort adapting them — or finding new tools — to track AI visibility and citation share.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to proving impact.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher (written and verbal).
What you’ll do
Audit and optimize our website content so it performs well in both traditional Google search and AI-generated answers.
Build and maintain a framework for tracking brand visibility and citations across AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, etc.).
Work closely with content and product teams to structure content in a way that’s easy for both search engines and LLMs to parse, understand, and cite.
Implement structured data, schema markup, and other technical elements that improve machine readability.
Stay on top of a fast-evolving field — monitor new AI search behaviors and platform updates, and adapt strategy accordingly.
Report on both classic SEO metrics and emerging AI-visibility metrics to the team.
Nice to have
Basic technical SEO / web development knowledge (HTML, JS rendering, crawlability).
Familiarity with how LLMs retrieve and rank information (e.g., RAG concepts, prompt engineering basics).
Experience working in a remote-first, US-market-focused product company.
Active interest in or public writing/speaking about AI search and GEO/AEO trends.
