We are now a payment software company. We changed our focus from subscription billing in October 2019. Our product has many features that help our clients move customers from the order page to the final payment page, and also help them pay renewals on time.
We used our experience from many years in the subscription business and from working with millions of users. We used this knowledge to build a payment system that is smart, flexible, and easy to use.
1. Finish your projects
Possible problems: We work in 6-week cycles. It can be easy to lose focus or forget to plan well.
What to do: Understand why finishing a cycle is important. Stay focused and complete each project.
Result: You finish your projects well and can focus on a small number of tasks.
2. Work well in a remote team
Possible problems: Remote work can be hard because of time differences, communication, and trust.
What to do: Build good relationships with your teammates. Know what they are doing and help each other.
Result: The team works well together and big projects move forward faster.
3. Help your teammates improve
Possible problems: You may be busy with your own work, and giving feedback can feel difficult.
What to do: Manage your time well. Share your knowledge and give helpful feedback.
Result: Your team becomes more accurate, creative, and skilled.
4. Main responsibilities
What will you manage? Each person gets a role in a small team for each cycle. You may work on a few small projects, one big project, or support clients and fix bugs. You will also follow coding rules, write documentation, test your work, release updates, and report progress.
What will you contribute to? You will take part in code reviews, help plan projects, give feedback on ideas, and help hire new team members.
What will you support? You will support your team, but you can also help in other areas of the company if you want.
How much support per project? Teams usually have 1 to 4 people. You will work closely with your team and can ask others for help when needed.
