Yalantis is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the DACH market.
We build connected products end to end — mechanical design, electronics and PCB, firmware, cloud, and edge AI, all under one roof. ~400 engineers, 17 years, ISO-certified.
That is unusual. Most companies selling into German industry can build the software but not the device. Our clients typically replace 3 or 4 separate suppliers with us and stop managing the seams between them.
We’re now opening the DACH market properly, and we’re looking for one person in Germany to lead that.
This is a build role: you’d shape how we enter this market and own the result.
What you’d own:
Opening the market. Building a target account list across Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and NRW. Getting into the room — through your own network first, then industry associations, trade shows and referrals. In Germany the introduction is the channel, so we’re not asking you to run mass cold sequences.
Building a referral network. Interim managers, former executives, independent consultants, RA/QA specialists. This is where most of our pipeline should come from within a year.
Carrying deals to signature. Qualification, technical discovery, navigating buying groups of six to ten people across engineering, procurement and management, building proposals with our presales and delivery teams, and closing.
Ecosystem partnerships. Chip manufacturers, EMS providers, distributors, system integrators.
Representing us in the field. embedded world, SPS, MEDICA, Hannover Messe, etc.
Shaping the strategy. Your read on positioning, segments and messaging becomes our DACH go-to-market strategy and our German-language sales content.
What we’re looking for:
Based in Germany, with a real working knowledge of the DACH B2B market.
An established network in German industry, technology, automotive or medtech — this is the single most important requirement.
Sold engineering or software development services, not a product or SaaS.
Track record in new business, not only account management.
Closed deals of €200K+
Business German at C1 or native, fluent English.
Nice to Have:
Technical or engineering background.
Able to run a first technical discovery before pulling in an engineer.
Exhibitor experience at embedded world, SPS, Hannover Messe or MEDICA.
Active in industry associations.
What we offer:
Negotiable fair compensation and bonus system.
Bonuses tied to opportunities and closed deals. With a 12-month enterprise sales cycle, paying only on signature wouldn’t be fair in year one.
Fully remote in Germany.
Covered:
Trade fairs, client travel, and a mobility allowance or company car
Equipment and sales tooling.
25 days annual leave.
The role itself:
Direct line to the CGO. No layers — decisions in a day.
Individual contributor for the first 6-12 month, then Head of DACH with a team.
Full ownership of how we enter the market: segments, channels, positioning.
Skilled team behind you, with delivery you can rely on.
