We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Backend (Java+Python) Engineer to join our dynamic team.

It is important for us that you have:
5+ years of Java backend development experience.
Strong Spring Boot experience.
Commercial experience with Python and willingness to develop and maintain Python services.
Experience with WebRTC or other real-time media/communication technologies.
RESTful API design skills.
Backend architecture/design experience in microservice systems.
Strong PostgreSQL experience, including JPA/Hibernate and Liquibase.
Experience with Kafka or another message broker.
Understanding of event-driven architecture, retries, DLT patterns and idempotency.
Experience with Redis.
Experience with AWS (or GCP).
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry or similar.
Performance optimization experience: DB queries, service latency, Kafka throughput or resource usage.
Experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes troubleshooting.
Understanding of JWT, API keys, role-based access and service-to-service integrations.
Nice To Have
Experience with Redshift or similar DB.
Multi-datasource applications and high-throughput batch processing.
AWS services: S3, DynamoDB, Redshift, ECR or CodeArtifact.
WebSocket or other real-time notification systems.
Distributed jobs with ShedLock or similar.
Signed API requests, HMAC validation or webhook validation.
LiveKit or other media/streaming platforms.
You will be responsible for:
Working with cross-functional team on sprint goals
Actively participating in roadmap design, planning, and execution
Working on horizontal scalability for the platform to handle 10k+ RPS
Database design for relational and NoSQL solutions
Building low latency event-driven architecture
Maintaining 90% test coverage
Load testing implementation • Implementing data partitioning patterns
RESTful API design and implementation
Developing and maintaining backend services in Java and Python
Developing and integrating WebRTC/LiveKit-based real-time communication features
Prod metrics monitoring and on-call activities
