mcpk. is connecting the best European software engineers with IT businesses from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. What makes us different from other IT companies? First of all — our philosophy! We believe that we have two kinds of customers — businesses and developers. So we treat each developer as our customer! Our cooperation is based on one simple principle — you work directly for the company from the DACH region. mcpk., in turn, ensures that everything is functioning well and that you have everything needed for your work, like hardware, insurance, etc. We do not interfere in your daily work as we are big fans of simplicity and transparency.
We are looking for QA Engineers (Junior/Mid, Senior, and Lead levels) to join our client — a leading company in the banking and financial services sector operating a business-critical digital platform. Operating in a highly regulated environment with strict standards for stability, quality, and traceability, the project aims to establish a standalone, holistic quality assurance and test automation strategy. You will help lay the groundwork, working closely with internal teams to ensure a continuous transfer of knowledge and sustainable quality practices.
Your qualifications:
Strong language skills: German (at least B2) and English (at least B2) are a must.
Proven experience in Quality Assurance and software testing (experience expectations will vary based on the Junior/Mid, Senior, or Lead role).
Experience with modern development processes, established tool suites, and test automation frameworks.
Technical understanding of modern tech stacks, particularly Java and Node.js.
Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically AWS.
For Lead/Senior: Strong background in developing holistic testing strategies, defining test coverage transparency, and building scalable reporting structures.
Nice to have:
Previous experience working in the banking, financial services, or other highly regulated sectors.
Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks.
Experience in coaching internal teams and ensuring a smooth transfer of QA knowledge.
Your tasks:
Implement testing strategies in collaboration with the client’s existing internal development teams.
Establish sufficient transparency regarding test coverage, quality metrics, and scalable reporting structures.
Operate and maintain established test automation and QA processes independently.
Participate in occasional on-site workshops and key coordination sessions at the client’s locations in Germany.
For Lead/Senior: Develop and lay the groundwork for a sustainable QA and test automation strategy tailored to a financial digital platform.
What we offer:
Full-time, 100% remote job with occasional business trips to Germany.

A long-term B2B/FOP contract.
Compensation paid in EUR, based on your level (Junior/Mid, Senior, or Lead).
