DataMatrix is a part of the EveryMatrix Platform, responsible for collecting, storing, processing, and utilizing hundreds of millions of transactions every day across the entire platform. The team builds data products, including reporting solutions, data streaming pipelines, third‑party integrations, serving both internal stakeholders and external customers. The DataMatrix team consists of around 35 people and is based in Lviv.
Role Overview: As a Product Owner in DataMatrix, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of data products within the platform. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, working closely with data engineers, other internal and external stakeholders to ensure that data products are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. This position is focused on the discovery and prioritization of initiatives, defining product scope and objectives, establishing key deliverables, and developing a comprehensive roadmap — all sequenced to optimize value delivery.
What You’ll get to do:
Own and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for DataMatrix data products.
Translate business and client needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Analyze new initiatives and requests and participate in product discovery and business analysis.
Prioritize initiatives based on business value, platform impact, and data usage.
Work closely with data engineers, technical leads and other tech stakeholders on solution shaping.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability across platform data products.
Support internal teams and clients using DataMatrix products.
Continuously improve existing data products based on feedback, usage, and insights.
Collaborate with other business units and non‑development departments.
Continuously deepen understanding of the iGaming domain and EveryMatrix products.
What You need to know:
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst in IT or B2B SaaS.
Hands‑on experience owning a product through continuous evolution.
Experience working with data‑intensive or analytics‑driven products.
Strong backlog ownership and prioritization skills.
Experience with user story and acceptance criteria writing.
Ability to correctly define business and customer needs.
Experience with product documentation.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
Familiarity with Agile product development practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Ability to listen, negotiate, and manage expectations.
Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
High ownership, responsibility, and result orientation.
Advanced English (B2+), written and spoken.
Comfortable communicating with engineering teams in technical language.
