Crab Guard Games is a digital production studio creating games, gamified experiences, and custom digital products for clients.
We are expanding our network of trusted designers whom we can invite to suitable upcoming projects. This is project-based cooperation rather than a full-time position or an immediate project assignment.
When a relevant project comes up, we will discuss its scope, timeline, your availability, and rate in advance. You can decide separately whether each project fits your schedule.
What you will work on
Designing UI/UX for casual games, gamified brand experiences, and educational or entertainment products;
Creating user flows, wireframes, final screens, and interactive prototypes;
Designing typical game flows such as onboarding, tutorials, menus, level selection, rewards, shops, progress systems, settings, and popups;
Creating UI assets independently, including buttons, panels, icons, popups, and decorative elements;
Preparing UI kits, components, and clear design files for developers;
Creating prototypes and previews of UI animations and transitions;
Adapting interfaces for different screen sizes and platforms;
Collaborating closely with our designers, developers, animators, and project managers.
What we are looking for
Middle-level commercial experience in game UI/UX design;
A strong portfolio with relevant game interface examples;
Experience designing visually rich and engaging interfaces, especially for casual games;
Understanding of common game flows, player behaviour, and usability principles;
Ability to create both the UX structure and the final visual design;
Strong Figma skills;
Confident Adobe Photoshop skills;
Experience with components, variants, prototyping, and structured design files;
Ability to explain your design decisions and work independently within an agreed scope;
Intermediate or higher English for communication with our team.
It will be a plus
Experience with web-based games or preparing designs for web implementation;
Adobe Illustrator or other relevant graphic design tools;
Experience working on gamified products for brands;
Reasonable use of AI tools to support ideation, asset exploration, and routine design tasks.
What we offer
Fully remote project-based cooperation;
A clear scope, timeline, and rate agreed separately for every project;
Direct collaboration with a small and experienced production team;
A variety of game, gamification, and interactive projects;
The freedom to accept projects based on your current availability.
