About the Role
As a Software Engineer on the Quality team, you will help build, maintain, and improve business-critical systems that support Pearl’s core business and the future of B2P migration efforts. This role is ideal for a full-stack engineer who enjoys working across both front-end and back-end development, solving complex technical problems, and collaborating closely with product and business stakeholders to shape practical solutions.
You’ll contribute to new feature development, improve existing systems, and help strengthen engineering practices within the team. What You’ll Do
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance reliable, scalable software across front-end and back-end systems.
Build user-facing features and the back-end services that support them.
Partner with product and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and develop effective technical solutions.
Contribute to business-critical initiatives, including B2P migration efforts and improvements to core operational systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that supports overall system quality and reliability.
Use SQL and application data flows to support functionality, troubleshoot issues, and improve system performance.
Participate in code reviews and help strengthen engineering standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teammates in an agile, sprint-based environment.
Use AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar technologies, to improve productivity and delivery.
What We’re Looking For
A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience in a full-stack role.
Proficiency in .NET frameworks, C#, and data-access technologies.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including experience with complex queries and performance-sensitive data scenarios.
Knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience with React is preferred.
Familiarity with writing unit and integration tests using NUnit, Playwright, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.
Ability to work effectively in environments with evolving or ambiguous requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify practical, streamlined solutions to complex issues.
Interest in understanding business needs and translating them into effective technical solutions.
Experience working in agile, sprint-based development environments.
Experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools, such as OpenAI technologies, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools.
Experience measuring and optimizing webpage performance is a plus.
Upper-intermediate English proficiency or higher.
