We're looking for an L&D Manager to build the learning and development function at True Group from the ground up. There is no existing LMS, no structured onboarding tracks, no co-funding process — you'll design and launch all of it, then own it long-term.
This is a role for someone who believes that learning is a business driver, not an HR add-on. You'll work closely with HR Operations, team leads and managers across all our structure to identify what people need to grow — and then build the infrastructure and programmes to make it happen. Your work will directly impact how fast new employees get up to speed, how managers develop their teams, and how the company retains its best people.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Select, configure and launch the LMS platform: define requirements, structure the content catalogue, integrate with PeopleForce and Notion, and keep it running
Run a company-wide Learning Needs Assessment — identify skill gaps by role and level, and turn findings into a prioritised learning roadmap
Develop and deliver internal programmes: role-specific hard skills, soft skills, management development, 1:1 and PRP practices
Build and maintain the welcome course and role-based onboarding tracks for the first 30/60/90 days — in partnership with HR Ops and team leads
Organise internal workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions with internal experts as trainers
Build and manage the co-funding policy: approval criteria, budget limits, provider registry and ROI reporting
Own the annual learning budget: plan, defend it to the business and track spend
Maintain the company knowledge base in Notion: structure, keep it current and easy to navigate
Measure learning effectiveness: pre/post assessments, 30-day follow-up and course NPS
Regularly update content — replace what's outdated, add what's needed
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
3+ years in L&D, Training or a related HR function
Hands-on experience selecting and launching an LMS platform
Proven ability to design and deliver learning programmes — not just coordinate external training
Strong project management skills: you can run multiple initiatives simultaneously without dropping the ball
Data-driven approach: you measure what you build and iterate based on results
Comfortable working with managers and C-level to identify needs and communicate learning impact
Experience with co-funding or external learning management is a plus
Familiarity with Notion, PeopleForce and LMS platforms
Upper-Intermediate English (B2+)
iGaming, digital or tech background is a plus
