We are currently looking for a Lawyer.
What you will do:
Drafting, editing and approving contracts of various types and levels of complexity, including international contracts; conducting legal analysis of such contracts and maintaining a register of contracts;
Preparing, updating and agreeing corporate documents, company policies and terms of use; providing legal support for the corporate website;
Identifying and analysing legal risks, including those arising from the conclusion of contracts and regulatory compliance; screening new and existing vendors and counterparties for compliance risks;
Researching, analysing and monitoring changes to legislation in various countries (both local and international), and establishing internal processes in response to such changes;
Receiving and processing requests from internal clients, tracking deadlines; advising company staff;
Negotiating with counterparties and corresponding with vendors in various jurisdictions;
Providing legal support for new services, the operations of relevant company departments and the recruitment of new employees;
Preparing legal reports and briefings at the company’s request.
What is important to us:
A university degree in law (Master’s or Bachelor’s)
At least 2 years of professional experience in the IT/telecom industry, and in corporate and international contract law;
Experience of working with complex, multi-tiered contracts and managing several legal entities simultaneously;
Knowledge of Ukrainian civil, commercial and procedural law, as well as current case law;
Proficient user of legal databases;
Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English;
Would be a plus:
Knowledge of the GDPR and other EU and US privacy regulations, including guideline, penalty practices, etc.
