Playtech‘s Marketplace and Engagement Games Product Team is looking for an experienced Fullstack Team Leader with strong full-stack web development background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to lead teams and deliver reliable, maintainable, customer-facing software.
Team Leader will lead the engineering team responsible for two established Playtech products: Marketplace, a casino content management product, and Engagement Games, a real-time gaming campaigns product.
The role combines engineering leadership, people management, and hands-on technical understanding. The Team Lead will guide the team in delivering high-quality full-stack solutions, support technical decision-making, improve engineering practices, and ensure effective collaboration with Product, Architecture, QA, DevOps, Delivery Management, and other teams.

Lead and coordinate the full-stack engineering team.
Own day-to-day progress tracking, and risk management.
Work closely with Product, Architecture, QA, DevOps, Delivery Management, and external teams.
Converting product requirements and business priorities into clear, well-defined technical tasks and structured delivery plans.
Participate in solution design, technical discussions, architectural reviews, and implementation planning.
Ensure effective engineering practices: code review, testing, documentation, CI/CD, observability, and production readiness.
Mentor and coach engineers through feedback, technical guidance, code review, and regular communication.
Improve team processes, engineering workflows, release predictability, and overall team efficiency.
Contribute hands-on when needed in complex investigations, troubleshooting, or critical delivery situations.

Bring 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in full-stack web development.
Have 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, such as Team Lead, Engineering Lead, Tech Lead, Development Lead, or similar.
Demonstrate strong experience with modern JavaScript / TypeScript web applications.
Possess solid practical knowledge of React, Redux, ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, REST APIs, MongoDB, and Redis.
Have experience delivering customer-facing or business-critical web applications.
Show a strong understanding of full-stack architecture, performance, testing, CI/CD, and production support.
Have experience working with highly available, performance-sensitive, distributed, or event-driven systems.
Are experienced in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional and distributed teams.
Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and an engineering leadership mindset.
Are able to lead people, delivery, and technical discussions effectively.
Apply good technical judgment and guide teams toward simple, maintainable solutions.
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
