We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-Focused) to help us build an AI-powered video analytics platform focused on real-time security and behavioral event detection.
This is NOT a simple dashboard or CRUD application.
We are building a modular AI infrastructure that processes live camera streams, receives AI detections, generates JSON metadata/events, and displays alerts inside an operator/admin interface.
We already have:
* frontend/UI direction * product architecture logic * module definitions * workflow understanding * partially designed interface
We now need someone who can connect the entire system together into a stable product.
Project Overview Architecture:
Camera Stream (RTSP) → AI Detection Modules → JSON Metadata / Events → Backend → Admin Panel / Alerts
The platform is focused on:
* non-biometric AI analytics * real-time alerts * event processing * modular architecture * scalable AI integrations * future predictive behavioral analytics
Examples of AI modules:
* intrusion detection * zone violation * loitering * theft/object removal * aggressive behavior/fight detection * smoke/fire detection * anomaly detection
Each module produces metadata/events that must appear in the monitoring interface.
What You’ll Build
You will primarily work on backend architecture, but should also be comfortable making frontend integrations/modifications when needed.
Core responsibilities:
* RTSP stream integration * Backend APIs * Real-time event processing * JSON metadata handling * Alert/event pipeline * WebSocket/live updates * Video clip buffering (before/after event) * Admin panel integration * Multi-camera management * Event timelines/history * Deployment and infrastructure setup * Connecting AI modules with frontend
