Our Mission and Vision
At Solidgate, our mission is clear: to empower outstanding entrepreneurs to build exceptional internet companies. We exist to fuel the builders — the ones shaping the digital economy — with the financial infrastructure they deserve. To achieve that, we’re on a bold path: to become the #1 payments orchestration platform in the world.
About the Team and Role
We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our Alternative Payment Methods team — the team that owns everything related to PayPal, Klarna, MB WAY, Blik, and every other APM merchants want to offer their customers.
Right now, this team has no dedicated frontend engineer. UI work for Olimp (internal admin panel), Hub (for merchants), and Payment Form/Payment Page gets done around the edges of other teams’ roadmaps. You’ll change that — as the first FE hire on this team, you won’t inherit an existing frontend codebase or set of conventions. You’ll build them.
Why It May Be Your Next Big Move
Impactful work. Ship UI that directly shapes how merchants integrate and how customers pay — across PayPal, Klarna, Blik, MB WAY, and every APM Solidgate supports.
Direct influence on API design. You’ll work closely with Go backend engineers on the Buf/Connect RPC contracts your frontend consumes — real input into how they’re shaped, not just what you’re handed.
Autonomy & ownership. As the first FE engineer on the team, every architectural decision, tooling choice, and process starts with you.
Why Is It the Perfect Time to Join?
The APMs product is in active development — the goal is a more intuitive integration experience for merchants, with more room for customization, testing, and support. Strategically, Solidgate wants its integration experience to be the most reliable, extensible, and developer-friendly on the market. You’d be joining at the exact point where the frontend function for this team is being defined from scratch.
What You’ll Drive
Give the APMs team the ability to ship UI independently across Olimp, Hub, and payer-facing flows
Build and maintain the SPA that powers the APMs experience in Hub and Olimp
Add new Alternative Payment Methods to Payment Form, from integration through to a polished payer-facing checkout experience
Improve the UI/UX merchants use in Hub to configure and manage their APM setup
Work directly with Go backend engineers to shape the Buf/Connect RPC contracts your frontend consumes
Establish the frontend patterns, tooling, and review practices this team will run on for years to come
What We Pay Attention To
Technical Mastery
1+ years of professional experience building applications with React and TypeScript
Comfortable working with SPA architecture and building UI from scratch, not just extending existing screens
Able to read and reason about API contracts (REST, RPC, or similar) and collaborate directly with backend engineers on how those contracts are shaped
Mindset & Impact
Genuine interest in owning frontend decisions rather than following an existing playbook
Ownership & independence — you drive projects forward without waiting for someone else to define the pattern
Ability to learn quickly and work well directly with backend and product stakeholders
The Points That Make You Stand Out
Experience with Protobuf/Buf or gRPC-style typed API contracts
Familiarity with BFF patterns, especially Node.js-based RPC layers like tRPC
Exposure to payments, fintech, or checkout/conversion-sensitive UI
Experience setting up frontend architecture or conventions on a team that didn’t have them before
Why Solidgate?
High-impact role. You’re not inheriting a frontend system — you’re building one, from the first line of code.
Massive growth opportunity. Be the frontend engineer who defines how an entire team ships UI going forward.
Great product. Solidgate isn’t just an orchestration player — it’s the financial infrastructure for modern internet businesses, covering subscriptions, chargeback management, frau
