DevOps Engineer
Hybrid / Remote (with the ability to visit our Kyiv office when needed)
At Johnson Controls, we build smart, secure, and sustainable technologies used worldwide. Due to internal team growth and exciting new initiatives, we are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer / System Administrator to join our international team.
What you’ll do:
Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD workflows Support and improve Linux-based environments Work with Docker-based infrastructure and virtual machines Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python/Groovy/Bash Support deployment and infrastructure processes Monitor system performance and maintain stability Collaborate closely with engineering teams on new features and improvements
What we’re looking for:
Strong Linux skills (networking, virtualization, tuning, debugging) Experience with Docker Experience with AWS or GCP cloud services Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc. Good scripting/programming skills (Python, Go, Bash) Understanding of monitoring and performance metrics Knowledge of cybersecurity and data encryption best practices Strong problem-solving mindset Good spoken and written English
Nice to have:
Jenkins / GitLab CI/CD Kubernetes / Docker Compose Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix RabbitMQ / Kafka MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis Basic C++ or Java knowledge
