We are in a new world where every developer is the project manager of their own army of AI coding agents. In this world, the most important skills for a developer are in business understanding.
We are an AI company, extremely bullish on the future of AI coding, and our customers are too. We work Claude Code first. If you don't believe in that way of delivering, this probably isn't the right fit.
We need someone who can hear one short sentence in the middle of a meeting, recognize that it carries real signal about what the business needs, understand what the speaker actually wants without a lot of detail, and then deliver on it.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership. Someone I can drop into a project and say "automate this manual email customer interaction workflow," and three months later it just works, without anyone having to direct every detail. Along the way, you will push the business for clarity where the right AI behavior can't be intuited, or where we don't yet have the data.
We mostly work in TypeScript, but the language you coded most in the past no longer matters.
What you will work on
German private liability insurance, powered by AI. We automate everything. All customer interactions across phone, email, and web are handled by AI agents. Claims adjudication is AI driven. We run as a subsidiary of a large insurance company that holds the risk in the end. Fast processing and 24/7 responses are the value customers get when they choose this insurance.
Language
Our working language is English, but so much of the data is German that German skills are effectively required for a senior role. AI translation goes a long way, but it will slow you down on the details.
Logistics
Full time. Fully remote. Openness to travel to Berlin, Germany is a plus.
