At Raiffeisen, more than 5,500 employees work together, including one of the largest product IT teams, consisting of over 800 professionals. Every day, we collaborate to ensure that more than 2.7 million of our clients receive quality service, use the bank’s products and services, and develop their businesses because we are #Together_with_Ukraine.
We are the Product Security team, responsible for the security, reliability, and trust of Raiffeisen Bank’s digital ecosystem. Our mission is to embed security at every stage of the software development lifecycle and continuously strengthen the resilience of our services.
We are looking for an AI Engineer (Security) — a specialist who combines strong software engineering experience, hands-on expertise with LLMs and AI tools, and a desire to apply these skills within the cybersecurity domain.
In this role, you will design AI-driven solutions to automate security team processes, assess the security of AI systems implemented across business and IT, and help colleagues integrate AI into their daily workflows.
Your future responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing AI solutions for security teams. You will build LLM agents, RAG systems, AI pipelines, and integrations using modern tools.
At the same time, you will implement a Shift-Left AI Security approach — embedding AI security checks early in the development lifecycle by integrating them into CI/CD pipelines and SSDLC processes. This includes:
Analyzing AI-specific threats
Managing Shadow AI risks
Helping Security team to build tools for conducting security reviews of AI products before they go into production
Defining architectural standards for AI security tooling across the organization
Mentoring engineering teams on secure AI integration patterns and best practices
Leading technical decision-making for AI security infrastructure choices
If you are passionate about combining artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in a complex, technology-driven financial environment — this role is for you.
Your skills and experience:
5+ years of software development experience
Strong proficiency in Python and other programming languages for building automation, scripts, and integrations
Hands-on experience with LLMs: prompt engineering, building chains/agents, working with model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
Experience with LLM frameworks
Practical use of AI assistants in development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor or similar)
Understanding of RAG architectures: vector databases, embedding models, chunking strategies
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications
Ability to rapidly prototype — from idea to working PoC in days, not months
Experience influencing technical direction across multiple teams or projects
Track record of knowledge transfer — documentation, workshops, or internal enablement
Will be a plus:
Experience with model fine-tuning
Knowledge of Cloud AI services: Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI
Basic understanding of information security processes (SOC, Incident Response, AppSec, GRC)
Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, or other AI regulations
Experience building multi-agent systems
AI or Cloud certifications
Personal Qualities:
Practitioner mindset — not just understanding LLMs, but having built real solutions
Self-sufficiency — ability to take ownership from problem to solution without micromanagement
Strong communication skills — able to explain complex topics in simple terms to non-AI teams
Curiosity and adaptability in a fast-evolving AI landscape
Focus on delivering measurable business value
Ability to lead by expertise — guiding teams without formal authority
