We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer with strong experience in Svelte to join our team and help build fast, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces. You’ll work closely with design, product, and backend engineers to ship high-quality features that users love.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain modern web applications using Svelte
Translate designs and product requirements into clean, performant, and accessible UI components
Own the full frontend lifecycle: architecture, implementation, testing, performance optimization, and maintenance
Collaborate with designers to ensure pixel-perfect, responsive experiences across devices
Work with backend engineers to integrate APIs and define clear contracts
Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to shared component libraries
Improve developer experience, build tooling, and frontend architecture
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of our engineering practices
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of professional frontend development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Svelte
Solid understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience building responsive, accessible (WCAG), and performant web applications
Familiarity with state management patterns in Svelte (stores, runes, context, etc.)
Experience with modern frontend tooling (Vite, testing libraries, CI/CD)
Comfortable working with REST/GraphQL APIs
Strong attention to detail and a product-minded approach
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team
Nice to Have
Experience with Svelte 5 (runes)
Knowledge of other modern frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) and ability to compare trade-offs
Experience with design systems and component libraries
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Storybook, Playwright/Cypress, or similar tools
Understanding of web performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, bundle analysis, etc.)
Previous experience in a product-focused or startup environment
