— Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs of varying complexity using Laravel (PHP). — Develop and support event-driven integrations based on Kafka and RabbitMQ (producers/consumers, queues, message processing). — Design and optimize data handling: relational databases and caching/storage with Redis. — Analyze requirements and proactively highlight technical risks and constraints to the team before development starts. — Make architectural decisions with scalability, reliability, and performance of a distributed system in mind. — Perform code reviews and maintain code quality standards and best practices within the team. — Investigate and resolve defects and incidents using logs, databases, metrics, and monitoring. — Build and maintain technical documentation and improve development processes within the team. — Mentor colleagues and share expertise within the engineering community. — Jump into tasks of adjacent teams when needed.
⚙️ Your Tasks
— Successfully onboard into the team’s development processes, Laravel codebase, and infrastructure (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis). — Demonstrate ownership of assigned features from requirements analysis through production release and support. — Confidently develop and maintain asynchronous integrations via Kafka/RabbitMQ with minimal supervision. — Deliver consistent, high-quality development and delivery. — Effectively collaborate with other developers, QA, product managers, and other stakeholders. — Contribute to improvements in architecture, development processes, or team knowledge sharing. — Show the ability to independently break down tasks, make sound technical decisions, and see them through to completion.
