Giraffe Software is an Estonia-based outstaffing company that connects experienced software engineers with international clients and supports long-term technology partnerships through dedicated development teams.
We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Node.js Developer to contribute to an enterprise project and resource planning platform. The product helps large organizations coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, distribute shared resources, and improve workforce planning and scheduling. Centralized dashboards, Gantt charts, and flexible data views provide teams with a clear overview of project timelines, workloads, and resource allocation.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using Node.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, React, and Tailwind;
Build and optimize scalable backend services and contribute to modern frontend functionality;
Design PostgreSQL schemas and improve database performance through query optimization and effective indexing;
Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or similar;
Deploy and scale cloud infrastructure across AWS or GCP environments using Kubernetes;
Introduce and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Pulumi;
Build and improve automated delivery pipelines using CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD;
Monitor application and infrastructure health, investigate performance issues, and troubleshoot incidents using tools such as Datadog;
Apply advanced AI-assisted development tools, including Cursor, Claude, and GPT-powered workflows;
Collaborate closely with founders, product managers, and designers to turn business requirements into effective technical solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
6+ years of professional software engineering experience;
Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js;
Solid production experience with Nest.js;
Experience with at least one modern frontend framework: React, Vue, or Angular;
Hands-on experience designing scalable, cloud-native services in AWS or GCP;
Practical knowledge of key AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, and API Gateway;
Strong SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL;
Strong NoSQL knowledge and hands-on experience with MongoDB or Elasticsearch;
Confidence working in Linux-based environments;
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code;
Regular practical use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT;
Upper-intermediate English proficiency or above.
Will be a plus:
Experience with GraphQL, Python, and Elasticsearch;
Familiarity with PHP-based projects.
