We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer (React) to join our project with a leading US product company in the restaurant technology industry. The client develops a cloud-based platform that powers digital ordering, payments, delivery, and guest engagement for hundreds of well-known restaurant brands, processing millions of transactions every day.
As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will work on customer-facing products used at scale, helping to build modern, responsive, and reliable web applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical decisions, and help deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced product environment.
This is you
5+ years of commercial experience in Front-End development
Strong hands-on experience with React (must-have)
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS
Experience with Node.js, NPM, Vite, Git, and CI/CD principles
Experience with front-end state management solutions
Experience building and maintaining client-facing APIs and SDKs
Experience writing automated tests (unit, component, integration, and end-to-end)
Solid understanding of front-end architecture, design patterns, and application structure
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
English — Upper-Intermediate or higher
Nice-to-have skills:
Experience with Next.js
Experience building or maintaining component libraries and design systems
Experience collaborating closely with UX/UI teams
Experience leading technical initiatives or acting as a Lead Developer
Experience providing L2 production support
This is your role
Design, develop, and maintain scalable React applications used by millions of end users
Build clean, maintainable, and well-tested front-end solutions
Develop and maintain customer-facing APIs and SDKs
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to deliver new features
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Take ownership of features throughout the entire development lifecycle
Participate in an L2 support rotation (approximately once every 8–9 weeks)
Communicate technical decisions clearly and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Continuously improve application performance, maintainability, and user experience
Working hours
The team collaborates closely with colleagues in the United States, so candidates are expected to have a daily overlap with the US time zone and be available until 12:00/1:00 PM Eastern Time (approximately 7:00/8:00 PM Kyiv)
