We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Operations Engineer to join the AI and Systems Engineering team. In this role, you will be the dedicated owner responsible for the operational excellence, governance, and adoption of enterprise AI and automation platforms — including OpenAI (ChatGPT Enterprise), Anthropic Claude, Workato, Zapier, Replit, and Gemini.
Today, these platforms are used across every function, but no single role owns the holistic lifecycle: provisioning, license optimization, feature governance, vendor engagement, adoption tracking, and employee enablement. You will build that function from the ground up while maximizing the value of AI investments through governance, visibility, and enablement at scale.
Your expertise:
5+ years of experience in IT operations, SaaS administration, or developer experience/enablement roles
Strong experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms at scale (identity management, access controls, license management, governance)
Hands-on experience with SSO / SAML / SCIM configuration and enterprise identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, or similar)
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript for building automations, integrations, and operational tooling
Experience with API integrations, webhook configurations, and workflow automation platforms
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Security, Legal, Finance, and Engineering stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with experience producing adoption metrics, utilization reports, and cost optimization recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and produce clear documentation
Will definitely be a plus:
Direct experience administering AI / LLM platforms (OpenAI ChatGPT Enterprise, Anthropic Claude Enterprise, or similar)
Experience with AI agent architectures, MCP (Model Context Protocol), or similar tool-use frameworks
Background in vendor management, contract renewals, and SaaS spend optimization
Experience building internal enablement or developer advocacy programs
Familiarity with automation platforms such as Workato, Zapier, or n8n
Experience with enterprise governance frameworks, audit logging, and compliance
Understanding of AI safety, data privacy, and responsible AI practices in enterprise contexts
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
You will be involved into:
Manage day-to-day administration of enterprise AI platforms, including user provisioning/deprovisioning, license allocation, workspace configuration, permission management, and access reviews
Configure and maintain SSO / SAML and SCIM integrations to automate identity lifecycle management across AI platforms
Monitor and report on platform adoption, utilization, and ROI by producing monthly dashboards, quarterly executive summaries, and platform health metrics
Evaluate new platform features and capabilities (including new models, agents, MCP servers, connectors, and integrations) and recommend rollout strategies in partnership with Security and Legal
Serve as the primary point of contact for AI platform support by managing Slack channels, answering user questions, escalating vendor issues, curating FAQs, and supporting employee onboarding
Develop and deliver enablement programs, including feature release communications, best practice documentation, tool comparison guides, office hours, and product demos
Partner with Finance and Procurement on vendor management, contract renewals, license optimization, cost allocation by team/project, and SaaS consolidation analysis
Build scripts, automations, and integrations using Python or TypeScript to improve operational efficiency across platform provisioning, reporting, and governance workflows.
Establish and enforce governance policies covering acceptable use, data classification, audit logging, and compliance controls for enterprise AI plat
