Position Overview:
As a Junior International Lawyer (Virtual Legal Officer Associate) at Legal Nodes, you will act as a strategic coordinator for legal services for global clients operating across multiple jurisdictions.
You’ll work closely with senior legal experts and internal teams, helping analyze client needs, structure legal workflows, and ensure smooth execution of international legal projects across areas such as corporate, privacy, compliance, and regulatory matters (including MiCA and DORA).
What We’re Expecting:
2+ years of experience in legal practice.
An understanding of business cycles in technology companies, including legal setup and expanding into international markets.
Familiarity with corporate law, B2B contracts (MSA, SaaS), and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
Experience with drafting legal documents such as corporate agreements (e.g., SHA, SPA, AoA/Bylaws) and commercial contracts (e.g., MSA, SLA, SaaS, EULA, T&C).
Experience with company registration in common-law countries (e.g., US, UK, Singapore).
Basic understanding of international taxation principles for multinational companies (e.g., CFC, CT, CGT, PE, PoEM).
Excellent communication skills to simplify complex legal concepts for clients.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Bonus Points:
Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy areas.
In-house legal experience in an international or fast-scaling company.
Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, and no-code solutions.
What You’ll Do:
Provide Legal Support: Support senior legal experts in delivering legal, tax, and compliance services to global companies, digital nomads, and tech-driven businesses by analyzing client needs and helping shape practical legal solutions.
Client Communication & Support: Assist with ongoing client communication by clarifying requests and expectations, explaining legal solutions in a clear and structured manner, and ensuring transparency through regular updates on progress, timelines, and next steps.
Support in Developing Legal Roadmaps: Contribute to the development of legal roadmaps that guide clients through cross-border setup, expansion, and ongoing international operations.
Draft and Review Legal Documents: Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate documents (e.g., SHA, SPA, AoA) and commercial agreements (e.g., MSA, SLA, SaaS).
Coordinate with Legal Providers: Help coordinate work with legal providers across multiple jurisdictions to ensure consistent quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of legal services.
