Spendbase is a fast-growing fintech startup building tools that help companies stop wasting money on SaaS, understand their cloud costs, and control payments. We work with businesses globally and are scaling fast: new products, new markets, new challenges every week.
We’re looking for a junior, hands-on AI enthusiast to build, run and improve a team of AI agents that take work off the CEO’s plate: scheduling, travel, research, briefs, follow-ups and more. You won’t just prompt a chatbot. You’ll design workflows, connect tools, watch what the agents do, and fix them when they break.
You’ll work directly with the CEO, with real ownership and a fast feedback loop. Every agent you build is measured by one thing: the hours it saves.
What you’ll do:
Build and maintain AI agents and automations for the CEO’s daily work (Claude, Claude Code, MCP connectors, n8n or similar)
Orchestrate multiple agents and tools into reliable workflows: calendar, email, travel planning, research, meeting prep, reporting
Monitor agent output, catch errors and hallucinations, and keep improving prompts, flows and guardrails
Find manual and repetitive tasks across the CEO’s day and turn them into automations
Test new AI tools and models, and recommend what is worth adopting
Document every workflow so it can be reused and handed over
Handle the rare tasks that still need a human (a tricky booking, a vendor call) and then ask: how do we automate this next time?
What we’re looking for:
0-2 years of experience in tech, automation, analytics, support or operations. Strong self-taught or pet-project experience counts as much as a job
You use AI daily and have built something real with it: a bot, an agent, an automated workflow. Send us a link, demo or short description.
Hands-on experience with Claude Code and MCP connectors
Experience building agents with LangChain or similar frameworks (LlamaIndex, CrewAI, n8n agents, etc.)
Experience with API integrations and webhooks
Experience automating Google Workspace (Calendar, Gmail, Drive, Sheets)
Basic Python or JavaScript
Systems thinking: you break a messy process into steps and spot where it will fail
High ownership and reliability: you check that it actually works
Discretion: you’ll handle confidential data
English B2 or higher, written and spoken
Comfortable with a dynamic schedule and fast-changing priorities
What we offer:
Direct work with the CEO and a front-row seat to high-level decisions
A real AI playground: you decide how we use it, with budget for tools and tokens
Fast growth from trainee to AI engineer, with a lot of learning on real tasks
Competitive salary
Paid vacation and sick leave
Paid overtime
Online medical consultation services
Join the growth!
