Cropwise Operations is part of Syngenta Digital, the technology arm of one of the world’s largest agriculture companies. We build mobile apps that help agronomists across 50+ countries plan planting, protect crops, and manage harvest. They run on satellite data and machine learning, and they work fully offline.
We’re looking for a skilled iOS Engineer to join our team. You’ll work on geolocation-heavy features, offline-first architecture, and performance-critical components that help farmers around the world make better decisions.

You enjoy data-heavy apps and keeping backend, database, and UI in sync through local persistence and caching
Mapbox SDK or other geospatial experience

C/C++ interop or geospatial libraries (GDAL)
Profiling with Instruments (performance, memory)
Agentic engineering, using AI agents for refactoring, codebase research, or feature delivery
CI/CD, build and release automation, scripting
What You’ll Work On
Developing a mobile application that interacts with a SaaS platform for agronomic data processing
Integrating with geolocation and mapping services (Mapbox, GPS, etc.)
Implementing UI components using SwiftUI
Building and maintaining the offline-first data layer (local storage, caching, synchronization), a core hands-on part of the role
Keeping the app fast through performance and memory optimization in critical code paths
Evolving a mature production codebase, including gradual UIKit to SwiftUI migration as part of ongoing architecture work
