𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗦

ASTIS (astis.io) is the cryptographic trust layer for regulated data: E2EE Mail overlay for Gmail/M365, Workload Secrets for Kubernetes, API Platform, and self-hosted HYOK key custody. One mechanism none of our competitors have: data and its key are never in the same hands.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗦:

• Founding hunter: our first sales hire, you build the pipeline from scratch

• You open the EU market for ASTIS: first territory, first playbook — what you build becomes the standard for the team we hire after you

• Self-starter role: you find your own leads, no SDRs, no inbound

• Fast-deal focus: Workload Secrets ($18k entry / $60k mid-market, live 30-minute POC) and Mail for teams (25+ seats, weeks-long cycles). Your primary initial focus will be agreed with the founder based on where you can generate qualified conversations fastest

• Big-ticket track in parallel: API Platform (from $15k/yr) and HYOK CVS ($50k–250k+)

• Deals run together with the founder: you open and drive, he brings technical depth

• Individual contributor: full autonomy, no management responsibilities

• Uncapped commission: 15% of the first-year value of every new contract you close

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧:

• Inbound or SDR-fed: there is no lead flow to work

• Account management or farming existing accounts

• Brand-assisted selling: we're at the first-reference-customers stage

• Self-serve: solo Mail subscriptions are product-led and not in your quota

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗼:

Security and compliance decision-makers at EU companies under NIS2/DORA/GDPR obligations: CISOs and Heads of Security, DPOs and compliance leads, platform engineering leads, procurement. In SMB — directly CEOs and CTOs.

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘀: hosting providers, data centers, MSPs, and SaaS companies running Kubernetes in production (fintech, healthtech) — anyone holding client or regulated data in clusters

𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀: regulated SMBs on Gmail/M365 — law and audit firms, medical practices, financial advisories

𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 (𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸):

𝗔𝗣𝗜 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺: product companies (ISVs) embedding encryption into their own applications — healthtech, fintech, legaltech

𝗛𝗬𝗢𝗞 𝗖𝗩𝗦: banks, insurers, public sector — anyone whose policy requires keys on their own infrastructure

ASTIS has several sales tracks. We do not expect one person to be equally strong across all of them. Your initial focus will depend on your experience, network, and demonstrated ability to open a specific segment. As the pipeline grows, we plan to hire additional salespeople around the motions that prove repeatable.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼:

• Prospect and open opportunities through cold outreach, events, and your network

• Run discovery and bring the founder into technical demos and live Workload Secrets POCs

• Drive deals through security review and DPA/legal to signature

• Close new customers and, where relevant, secure reference and design-partner agreements

• Feed structured signal back to the founder: what lands, what objections recur, why deals die

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿:

• 2–3 self-sourced deals you closed end-to-end — we'll walk through them in detail

• Proven EU/US B2B sales experience; English C1+

• Track record with security/GRC/DevTools products is a strong plus

• Experience closing deals with multiple stakeholders

• Self-motivated, accountable, comfortable selling a young category without big logos

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

• Full-time contractor role (FOP or equivalent), European working hours

• Base: $1,500/month for the first four months → $2,000–2,500/month from month five

• Commission: 15% of the first-year value of every new contract, uncapped

• Milestone bonus: additional $5,000 for $45k in new ACV closed within the first four months

• Year-one OTE: $55–80k at plan, uncapped beyond
