PioGroup Software is a team of professionals passionate about building reliable digital products. We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Linux Engineer with strong Linux administration and automation experience to support a large-scale transformation project for an enterprise banking client.
Must-have experience:
2+ years of hands-on Chef experience — MUST!!!
5+ years of professional Linux administration in production environments
Strong knowledge of Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu or similar distributions
Experience with server troubleshooting, patching, configuration and performance tuning
Strong scripting skills with Bash, Python or PowerShell
Experience in enterprise, high-availability environments
Strong understanding of automation, infrastructure management and operational processes
Good documentation and incident/change management practices
English B2+ (writing and speaking)
Nice to have:
Chef Habitat / Chef Automate
CI/CD and DevOps pipelines
Monitoring with Prometheus, Zabbix or Grafana
Experience in banking, finance or other regulated industries
ITIL knowledge and structured incident/change management experience
