Main requirements: Strong knowledge of digital, mixed-signal, power, interface, and sensor circuit design. Hands-on experience designing circuits with MCUs, ADC/DACs, and analog and digital sensors. Knowledge of UART, I²C, SPI, RS-485, and CAN; USB and Ethernet are a plus. Understanding of LDOs, DC/DC converters, power trees, protection circuits, decoupling, and power integrity. Practical PCB design experience using KiCad, Altium Designer, or similar tools. Understanding of signal integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC, and external interface protection. Confident use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and laboratory power supplies. Ability to independently perform component selection, schematic design, PCB bring-up, and hardware debugging. Ability to take a device from requirements and prototype through to a stable, production-ready revision.
Will be a plus: Experience with Python, makefile scripting Understanding of networking stack (TCP/IP and OSI) Experience with kernel drivers Experience with Git, SVN
