- Own the System Design / RFC process — driving architecture review and technical decision-making for major backend initiatives
- Define and promote architectural patterns and technical standards across backend services as the team scales
- Development of new functionality from scratch
- Providing new and improving existing technical solutions
- Serve as the primary technical resource for backend engineers — providing hands-on guidance, mentoring, and advice on complex technical decisions
Що очікуємо
- 6+ years of commercial experience as a Python developer, including prior experience in a Tech Lead role
- Demonstrated ownership of System Design / RFC processes — driving architecture review and technical decision-making for a team
- Proven experience establishing and enforcing architectural patterns and coding standards across a team’s codebase
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives end-to-end (service decomposition, scaling efforts, major refactors)
- Thorough understanding of PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, sharding, and partitioning
