A German AI software startup is hiring 2-3 full-time Software Engineers in Ukraine.
The company has been operating for around 20 months, is growing quickly and is looking for developers interested in a long-term position.
The role is fully remote, with direct employment by the German company.
What matters most
The founder is looking for someone who:
Understands software and system architecture
Thinks independently and challenges assumptions
Makes sound technical decisions
Takes ownership instead of waiting for detailed instructions
Uses Claude, Cursor or Codex as part of the daily development workflow
Understands, reviews and improves AI-generated code
Communicates clearly in English
Is available full-time and not studying or working another full-time job
This is an AI-first development environment. The focus is not on writing every line of code manually, but on using AI effectively while maintaining control over architecture, quality and technical decisions.
Years of experience are not the only deciding factor. Senior developers are welcome, but smart and highly capable Junior or Mid-Level candidates will also be considered.

Salary and employment
EUR 2,000-3,500 gross per month
Depends on experience, seniority and overall match

Interview process
Short introductory interview - approximately 15-20 minutes
AI-based take-home task - approximately one working day
Final interview with the founder - approximately 90 minutes
