We are launching this role to strengthen EverHelp’s AI direction and build reliable backend infrastructure for Voice AI, AI agents, and knowledge-based automation. The mission of this role is to turn AI ideas into scalable production systems that improve customer support experience for our clients worldwide.
Your future responsibilities include:
Build and maintain backend infrastructure for AI agent integrations.
Lead development of Voice AI — speech-to-text, TTS, telephony, infrastructure (multilingual including low-resource languages),
Build RAG pipelines and knowledge base systems that enable AI agents to learn from client-specific data and stay current without manual retraining,
Own system reliability: latency, uptime, graceful fallback to human agents, PII handling in compliance with SOC 2 / GDPR,
Contribute to technical vision and architecture decisions alongside the Head of Product and CPO.
Needed experience & skills:
4+ years in backend/DevOps engineering; at least 1 year building production AI/ML systems (not prototypes),
Deep hands-on experience with LLM APIs — prompt engineering, function calling, agentic workflows, multi-turn context management,
Experience designing and maintaining REST/webhook-driven integrations with third-party platforms,
